Process capability behind the parts we ship
Machining is what we sell, but we sell it by process, not by machine count. Each service below is a different route to a finished part: five-axis for compound-curved surfaces, milling for prismatic work, turning and Swiss-type turning for rotational parts, rapid prototyping when speed matters more than volume, and surface finishing when the part has to look and last on its own.
Every route runs on the same principle: the same machines, programmers and inspection that you would use for series production are available from your first piece. A prototype we make is not a cheaper or looser version of the part — it is the same part, made in a quantity of one. That is why a design that passes on our prototype passes in production.
Send a STEP, IGES, PDF drawing or a physical sample. We return a manufacturability review and a firm price within 24 working hours, and we will tell you honestly which route a part actually needs rather than defaulting to the most expensive one.
Frequently asked questions
What file formats do you accept?
STEP (.stp/.step) or IGES (.igs) for 3D, PDF or DWG for 2D drawings with tolerances and surface finish. If you only have a physical sample, we can reverse-engineer it — and a photo with the key dimensions is enough for a budget estimate.
What tolerances can you hold?
Standard machining tolerance is ±0.05 mm, and ±0.01 mm on features you mark as critical. Locating bores can be held to H7. Tell us which dimensions actually matter — over-tolerancing is the fastest way to raise cost without improving the part.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We machine one piece as readily as one thousand. Unit price improves noticeably at 50, 200 and 1,000 pieces because setup and programming amortise, and we use the same programme and fixtures from prototype through to series.
How long does a quote take, and what about lead time?
Quotes are returned within 24 working hours, usually the same day for simple parts. Production lead time is typically 7–20 working days depending on complexity, material availability and finishing.
